Project scheduling services for programmes where time is the number one factor.

Nomad SPS builds and runs the schedules behind some of Australia's most demanding construction programmes — 13+ hyperscale data centres, utility-scale renewables, and rail. We plan in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, but the tool is never the point: the schedule is your main coordination and communication tool, and it has to be built on a deep understanding of how the project will actually be delivered.

What our scheduling service covers

We develop master programmes from first principles — design, procurement, construction, MEP, and commissioning integrated into a single defensible logic network. We baseline them against contract obligations, run the weekly and monthly update cycle, and keep the lookahead honest against what the field can actually build.

Engagements range from building a tender or delivery programme from scratch, to running scheduling on a live project, to placing a planner inside your team under our methods and quality standards.

Planning before scheduling

A schedule is only as good as the plan behind it. Before anything is loaded into P6 or MS Project we work through buildability with the delivery team: sequence, method, interfaces, access, and constraints. The plan drives the schedule — scheduling software is a tool for expressing intent, not a substitute for it.

That is why our programmes clear baseline approval under operator scrutiny — including Microsoft's schedule and reporting standards, among the most demanding in the Australian market.

Reporting that demonstrates control

Every schedule we run feeds a simple reporting rhythm: the same data, presented at the right resolution for each audience — site teams, project directors, and end clients. Stakeholders see a live view of the plan, not a compliance artefact produced after the fact.

Common questions

Which scheduling tools do you work in?

Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project natively, plus Asta Powerproject where a contractor's environment requires it. We also run our own platform, Nomad Syncra, for schedule health checks, version comparison, and reporting across tools.

Do you take on scheduling for projects outside data centres?

Yes. Data centres are our flagship sector, but we deliver scheduling for building construction, renewable energy (solar, wind, BESS), rail, and complex infrastructure — anywhere the shortest defensible timeline decides the commercial outcome.

Can you work within our existing planning team?

That is one of our core models. We establish, coach, and operate planning capability inside client teams — head contractors on Microsoft and Stack programmes have built repeatable in-house planning functions this way.
